Now, I love me some Hindu Pantheon Drama, but I never came across this one before! What a delight. Noting as I was reading, it reminded me of the Eleusinian Mysteries with Hades, Persephone and Demeter. Lots to digest here for me and inspiration for more rabbit holes to go searching through. As much as I am more familiar with the Western Mythos, I feel that Hinduism in particular has a lot of more nuance and balance when it comes to "Masculine" and "Feminine," or Yin and Yang. As you said, we need both and they need each other!
